Each build on average takes about 12 months. No one moves in until all the homes are completed.
The household will be expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week on the construction site. The household must put in at least 17 hours per week, while the remaining hours can come from outside family members, friends and community members or organizations
You must be at least 18 years old to apply for this program. The is no age limit, although you must be physically capable to put in at least 17 hours of work per week.
A family’s income can be no greater than 80 percent of area median income to qualify (please call to verify), each applicant must have a 2 year work history, and favorable or curable credit history is required and a credit report will be obtained for each applicant.
Your total house payment (principal, interest, taxes, and insurance) will be determined by your household income and could be as low as 1% interest.
