Baatz Block Apartments
Built in 1913, the Baatz Block was given new life as it was renovated into 25 apartments. Completed in 2025, it is the first permanent supportive housing community in Great Falls. Project-Based Housing Vouchers provide sustainable and affordable rent for those who live in the Baatz Block Apartments. This project was developed with HomeWord, a non-profit organization based in Missoula.
Stock the Block
We are collecting food, toiletries, and everyday essentials for the Baatz’s pantry. Your donations will help provide residents of the Baatz Block Apartments with the basic supplies they need to feel supported and at home.

Applications are only accepted through a referral process from Opportunities Inc. Individuals interested in applying for the Baatz Block Apartments should connect with a case manager at Opportunities Inc at the Community Resource Center, located at 1123 1st Ave S, and indicate they need assistance finding housing.
